One of the most important duas we should try to concentrate on fully, with the presence of heart and mind, is one we often rush through, though we are commanded to read it 32 times daily – 52 times in this month! It is none other than “the Oft-recited versus”, “the Mother of the Book”, Al-Fatihah, as described by our Noble Prophet peace be upon him. It is a most powerful dua, most significant plea to Allah, Most High. The All-Knowing did not prescribe its recitation so often except for its magnitude, so let us strive to be heedful during every recitation of the Fatihah, especially in these blessed days. May Allah accept our deeds.
