Will we not fear the fire?? In these last 10 days, Allah, glorious is His Majesty, frees those destined to hell from its shackles. We must sincerely ask to be of them, yet, how can we truly be sincere in seeking refuge from hell if we hardly know of its dreadful reality? How seldom is hell mentioned in our talks nowadays, though Allah, Most High, mentions it numerous times in His Book, with detailed descriptions, as do many of the ahadith of the Prophet ﷺ . Anything given so much importance in the religion is a grave matter indeed. Let us learn about hell, its punishments, its torments, so we may truly fear it and sincerely seek refuge from it in these days for ourselves and those we love.

For it would be the Fire of Hell!― (15) Plucking out (his being) right to the skull!― (16) Inviting (all) such as turn their backs and turn away their faces (from the Right), (17) And collect (wealth) and hide it (from use)!….
