It is narrated that some people came to visit Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and said, “Tell us about the most amazing thing you saw from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).”
At that Aishah cried profusely. She said, “All of his matters were amazing…”
That is the beauty of learning the Seerah, everything about it was amazing…everything about the Prophet peace be upon him is amazing.
My goal for the Learning to Learn Seerah course is to try to point out those amazing ways every time I can; it’s all amazing, sometimes we need to look past the mundane to see it, and sometimes we need help in doing so.
The ultimate goal of course is to cultivate the reverence of the Prophet peace be upon him that our Lord demands we have.
Allah, MIghty and Majestic, says in the Quran:
“Indeed we have sent you as a Witness, a giver of glad-tidings, and a warner,
That you [people] may believe in Allah and His Messenger and honor him and respect [the Prophet] and exalt [Allah] morning and afternoon.” Surah Fath 8-9
