RAJAB
Ibn Rajab al-Hanbali relates that Imam Abu Bakar al-Warraaq said:
The month of Rajab is the month for planting the seeds, Sh’aban is the month for watering the crops, and Ramadan is for harvesting the crop.
To that extent, the scholars have recommended doing more istighfaar in this month.
We seek forgiveness in this month to purify and cleanse our souls so they will be ready for upcoming months of good deeds. May Allah give us tawfeeq.
