Rabi Ul Awal Day 12

Today is the 12th of Rabi, which many scholars consider the day the Prophet ﷺ was born, as well as the day he passed away. It should be noted that there are other opinions about the day he was born; some say it was the 8th of Rabi, some say the 10th, and others.
The Companions once said to the Prophet ﷺ “Tell us about yourself.”
He said, “I am the prayer of my father Ibrahim, the good tidings of Isa, and the vision my mother saw, just as the mothers of the prophets see. The narrator said, “And the mother of the Messenger ﷺ saw a light when she gave birth to him that lit up the castles of Shaam (Syria/Palestine area).
He,ﷺ was that Nur, that Light.
Another hadith in which he speaks about his life and death:
My life is good for you; you do things, and things are done for you )i.e. you are given revelation about those things);
and my death is good for you; your deeds are shown to me, so whatsoever I see of good, I praise Allah for it, and whatever I see of evil, I ask Allah for forgiveness for you.”
Though his passing was the greatest calamity of all, as he ﷺ himself said, yet, he informed us of the good and benefit even in this heartbreaking event. This is also in keeping with the fact that all the affairs of Muslims are good.
Alhamduli Allah, may Allah ta’ala give us tawfeeq (Divinely granted success) to be grateful for our blessings, and indeed the greatest of them is to be from the Ummah of the Prophet ﷺ.
