Shafaqa (mercy and compassion) of Prophet ﷺ For Ummah

His Compassion for Us ﷺ
This Hadith is narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurayra (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, the similitude of me is like a man who lit a fire and when it lightens what was around it, moths and insects fell into the fire. So he tried to stop them, but they escape him and plunge into it. That is the likeness of me and you;, I am holding you by your waist-ties (place of belt) [from the fire] but you overpower me and plunge into it.

This Hadith is a vivid example that the Prophet ﷺ gives us. It shows his shafaqa (mercy and compassion) for us ﷺ, how he ﷺ is trying so hard to keep us away from the Fire. May Allah SWT give us tawfiq to do what we can to ease his burden ﷺ, to do what we can to stay away from the Fire Ameen!
